Conflict of Minerals Policy
Our Team
We have a dedicated Product Compliance team working to ensure our products meet the necessary national and international standards for product safety. Their work includes:
- Processing and issuing of CE (European Conformity) Declarations
- Processing and issuing of Declarations of Conformity against applicable standards for contactors used in various end-use applications
- Organising testing at our in-house Laboratory in UK or at our in-house Test Facility in Albright China to attain conformity against applicable standards where it is not yet met, or to meet customer’s own product compliance requirements
- Assisting customers with Product Compliance queries, such as UL status of specific contactors, EMC (Electromagnetic compatibility), applicability of standards etc.

Material Compliance
Furthermore, as a global supplier Albright is aware of the expectations of customers and legislation in the area of managing chemicals and is continually monitoring our supply chain to meet the necessary criteria.
To manage this, within our Product Compliance team we have a committed BARS (Banned and Reportable Substances) team to review the relevant chemicals and substances for their current reportable, restricted and/or prohibited status and to ensure we meet the demands of legislations such as the REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation & Restriction of Chemicals) Regulation, the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Directive and the Conflict Minerals Regulation (including Dodd-Frank Wall Street Regulation and Consumer Act). Additionally, our BARS team can be contacted to further assist with customers’ own specific reporting requirements.
